Artist Bio

Posè is an artistic pseudonym for embroidery artist- Alexandra. With a professional background in fashion design, Alexandra held a successful career in this field prior to focusing on her artistic practice. Originally from London, currently Alexandra lives and works internationally. After receiving formative training as a Fashion Designer at The London College of Fashion, Alexandra worked for a number of high fashion labels, including Vivienne Westwood, Bottega Venetta and Michael Kors.

Alexandra's practice is centered around figurative, contemporary embroidery and working with textile. Her signature style is attributed to her unique approach in drawing with thread and working with vibrant, expressive colour palettes.
